Terms for Bin Scout service providers using the platform
Last updated: March 13, 2026
By creating or using a service provider account with Bin Scout, you agree to these Provider Terms and Conditions.
Bin Scout provides a platform that enables service providers to connect with users seeking bin collection support services. Bin Scout grants you a limited, revocable licence to use the platform for that purpose in accordance with these terms.
You act as an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between you and Bin Scout. You are responsible for your own tax, insurance, licences, permits, and legal compliance.
When using the platform, you must:
No person under 15 years of age may perform services through the Bin Scout platform. If you are under 18, Bin Scout may require valid parent or guardian consent before approving or maintaining your provider account.
If you accept a booking or request through the platform, you are expected to complete that service unless cancellation is permitted under platform rules or approved by Bin Scout. Bin Scout may maintain reasonable rules about cancellations, reliability, safety, and platform conduct.
Bin Scout may collect payments from users on your behalf and may deduct applicable service fees, commissions, platform fees, or other agreed charges before remitting funds to you. Current fee arrangements may be published on the platform or otherwise communicated to you.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have any insurance reasonably required for the services you perform and for your circumstances. Bin Scout may provide onboarding information or minimum requirements, but you remain responsible for determining and maintaining your own appropriate cover.
You must not perform services where doing so would be unsafe or unlawful. You must report hazards, injuries, property damage, near misses, and incidents to Bin Scout as soon as reasonably practicable.
You may only use user information obtained through the platform for the purpose of providing services arranged through Bin Scout. You must not misuse, disclose, sell, or retain personal information except as permitted by law and these terms.
Bin Scout may suspend or terminate your provider account immediately where reasonably necessary to address fraud, unlawful conduct, safety concerns, repeated service failures, misuse of user data, or other material breaches. For other issues, Bin Scout may provide an opportunity to remedy where appropriate.
Bin Scout does not guarantee any minimum volume of work, earnings, geographic coverage, or uninterrupted access to the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bin Scout is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, Bin Scout's liability is limited to the amount of platform fees received by Bin Scout from your use of the platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia. The courts of South Australia will have non-exclusive jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform.
